Anybody know off the top of their head what the cheapest Axis-lock is? Does BM make one in red or black class or something?

Does the Griptilian get most folks vote for Bang for the Buck in Axis lock?

I don't know if the Griptilian is the cheapest BM axis lock, but you should pick one up anyway. . .a beautiful thing, really.

A Griptilian will be the cheapest Axis lock, as far as I know, and in terms of working ability, they are worth far more than what they cost.

Great knife, great lock, and amazingly cheap for what you get.

There are some other BM Axis knives that are more appealing in one way or another (and that I own), but the Griptilian is the one I end up carrying on a daily basis.

The Axis lock knives are all made in the U.S.A. None of the Benchmade Red Class knives come with an Axis lock.

The least expensive BM's with an Axis lock will either be the Grips, or the BM 530 which currently comes with a 154CM blade.

Depending on where you buy, most can be had for less than $80, and some for much less.

Benchmade Mini-Grip as the least expensive.

The lock on the red class knives looks like an Axis-lock, but it's not.

I, personally, don't look for the cheapest of anything. Look for the most reasonably priced item. Benchmade is hard to beat.

The thing is, BM's cheapest AXIS still holds its own.. it's like owning a base model Ferrari..

The grip/mini-grip line is the intro level to the axis. You can get the mini for around 55ish.
