I just bought a BK4 online for around $65. I've seen low prices for the Machax and the BK15 (between $42-45) on Coyle Outdoors and Knife depot. I think I paid close to $70 for my BK15 and I've seen previously in the high $80 range. Not complaining, but what gives? I may go ahead and buy another 15. :-)

Hi levernutt. I know that my wholesaler has a sale on those three knives for the month of November so since I am a small company starting out, I didn't have a lot of those knives in stock that needed to be sold at the normal price to keep from loosing money, so I was able to jump on the sale and buy them at a great price and therefore sell them at a great price. We all win.

If a company has lets say 10 or 20 or even 50 in stock and got them at the regular price and sold them at the sale price, they would loose a ton of money.

Also there has been talk that the 5 and 15 may be discontinued since they were not the hottest sellers in the lineup so that may be part of it as well?

As far as the BK-4? Well I think we are all just lucky to be able to get that deal on it! :D

I am almost certain come December 1st, the sales will be over.

Hope that kinda helps.

It all depends on what distributors are doing. Right now at thepreppersbunker.net you can get a Bk9 for $80, or a Bk24 for $45. It just depends on where your looking.
