Hi,
I am after an inexpensive bushcraft knife, fixed blade with synthetic handle and sheath. I was looking at a Frosts mora clipper but being left handed the knife is unsuitable with its single bevelled edge. Can anyone recommend as suitable alternative?

The Mora's are beveled on both sides. It is just a Scandi grind is all. Get one, you will not regret it. keepem sharp

Thanks for the reply. I've only ever seen a picture of the knife from it's right side and the website described single-bevel edge.

the website described single-bevel edge.

This seems to often confuse people who haven't handled so called scandi or zero ground knives. Indeed what they mean is that the edge is missing the second, finer bevel (on both sides), which is ubiquitous in American knives. Many scandi ground blades do have a barely visible micro bevel right at the edge though.

I'm left handed and I use Mora's frequently. They're and excellent low cost knife that's easy to sharpen. It you knife has a microbevel is can be removed with a little dilligent sharpening so that you have a scandi grind.

Take a look at the Mora 2000. Very good knife for little money, more robust than many of the other Mora models.

I've now ordered the mora with the high carbon blade. Should arrive in the next day or so. Thanks for all the comments and advice.
