Cheap Damascus Knives on EBAY

What is the deal with the cheap Damascus hunting knives on the EBAY auction? Most sell for $10 to $16, with leather sheath and free shipping. Are they made in USA? They don't have any foreign county listed, or on the blade, or on the sheath. Where are they made? The 3 0r 4 companies listing these knives seem to sell hundreds of them each month. Any info appreciated....

They are cheap junk made out of cheap steel, often in Pakistan or a similar place. Avoid like the plague.
