when is what forum members talk about considered advertising vs. discussion. Just curious, because people will mention certain brands and knife makers, such as I have in the past with my Striders, Khukris, Darrel Ralph's etc, but when does it become advertising such as the above?

Again, just info gathering, and not debating. I agree that the above guy hasn't spoken about knives and just post stuff as seen here.

Well, your average spammer (and from his profile and multiple posts I take it that he fits that description) just opens a thread or posts a reply to a random thread, blatantly advertising his goods by posting a link to his site.
I just checked your post history and what you did is nowhere near what could be construed as advertising. You did not come here to praise your own business without purchasing a dealer membership or contributing anything valuable.
