I've like the presidio auto for a while, but I don't know if I can get it, not bein law enforcement. And it's also very costly. I had a normal version presidio but ended up trading it. Also, i've been interested in getting a training folding knife to practice openings, general fighting technique, and to have something to hand to younger kids that visit me.
So here's my thought. Could I possibly do a blade swap from the Presidio ultra, and the auto-presidio trainer? It would give my presidio auto a one of a kind look, and it might be kind of neat having a hole in the blade.
Just a thought, wondered what you all think.
I'm always thinking about getting the training version of the BM42 and swapping my handles. This would be just as sweet.
Also the price of the 2 knives would come to about $110-140 which is cheaper than the normal auto-presidio and i'd be getting a training knife aswell.
If all else fails, i'd still be happy with the two original knives so it's sort of a win-win.
