Well actually, im just wondering, what would be the cheapest benchmade knife in the blue class?

And do the other knives in the red class come packaged like the ones in blue?
i.e. that nylon string pouch that the blue class knives come in?

i cant answer your first question but as for the second, none of my red class benchmades have come in the benchmade pouch. they have all come with box only.,,,VWB.

I think the mini-Grips & the reg. Grip are in the $50-60+ price range & are probably the lowest priced blue class. I believe the red class knives come in a plastic baggie (Not the nice pouch) in their box. Plus most of them are made overseas (China & Taiwan, I believe), not in the U.S. like the blue & black class knives.

+1. I picked up a Mini Pika II and it came in only a plastic baggie. You could check www.defenseknifeandtool.com. Pretty good prices and fast shipping.

Everything correct accept that ALL red class are made overseas. That is why they are RED class.

Linky no worky.

Try New Graham.

+1 on New Graham. Great people there who are also on here. And if you're ever in Bluefield, Virginia,(or anywhere near it, for that matter) you should definitely stop by there.
EDIT: Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like Defense Knife and Tool were worse than New Graham. I hope I didn't offend anyone. I in my vast ignorance had never heard of Defense Knife and Tool, so I'll be checking them out, too. Again, I hope I did not upset anyone.

Melt,
Thank you for your edit. We are not on the block here at BF as long as New Graham so it's hardly surprising that we are not as well known... but you can bet we will be doing what we can to make up for that...

Thanks,

I'm liking your website. Hey, it's never too early to start making out my list to Santa Claus (the wife).:D

Red class just comes in the red box, not even a baggie.

IIRC, he is right, I don't remember my Vex coming with anything but the box.
They are still good knives for the money. A little bit more pricy than Byrd, but I'd say better, and that's not just because of thumb holes- My Vex came sharper than my Byrd.
Oh, that Rant looks tempting. Really tempting. You guys need to stop posting Benchmade Red knives- my wallet is crying.
