Inspired by the s30v thread. I'd like to get one and see what the hype is all about. My zdp 189 spydies cost less than $110 with shipping and they're worth all the bucks in terms of cutting ability. I'm not inclined to blow $200-plus on a knife whose blade i'm going to wear halfway through. Thanks.

Couple that I have seen. Benchmade McHenry Williams. That runs about $150 and is an exclusive to a dealer. There was a Benchmade Griptilian that was another dealer exclusive. It was only $90. Thats pretty long gone now. And secondary market, demands a very high price, from what I have seen.

The problem with knives with m390 is that they tend to be limited runs which drives up cost on the secondary market. As far as regular production, the benchmade mpr and shoki are probably your best bets.

The para2 was $185, now $200+
Benchmade Ares $189 will be gone soon then $200+
Benchmade 710 $150 if you can find them, secondary market $200+
Benchmade minigrip was $90 but now run $150+
