The Kizer 4426A1 is for sale at around 60$

It 's going out of production or something?
Seems like a great deal to me, went ahead and bought on ebay.

It's 58 on ebay and 60 on blade hq.

Idk if i can posts links but it's easy to find.

for 2 more bucks i would have used bladehq. legit dealer who backs their products. ebay sellers, not so much usually.

I would much rather have done that but bladehq i can't order from there since it doesn't accept paypal, also no idea if they ship to europe.

i get that, but for everyone else who can use their credit card and lives in a easier ship to zone, etc.

If you look hard enough, you can find a Boker FR sprint in S35VN, Ti frame lock flipper on bearings for around $80-$85.

Don't post links, deal spotting is frowned upon here and can earn you infractions.
I'd rather have a Spyderco Native any day of the week.

Oh i was not aware of that at all.
I just thought it would be nice to share since it's a good deal.

I'll keep it to myself in the future.

Can you learn about how the knife was made ?? One thing is the steel the other is the HT of the steel !! A fine steel will perform poorly if shortcuts are made in the HT.
S35VN is in a class of steel that should be cryo treated , etc to get the best performance !

LA Police Gear brand has a knife in S35VN selling for $34.99, gets decent reviews.

Look at the Spyderco Native 5 with frn and s35vn. Great bargain of an edc.

Well, there is S35VN, ...and then, there is S35VN.
There are some firms, some countries, some manufacturers...who may sell low because their cost of production is low. It is possible that they have inferior heat-treat, or just that their cost of labor is lower than in the U.S.
One good rule of thumb is to buy from a "RESPECTED" manufacturer of long experience and many thousands of satisfied customers. In this particular case, Spyderco is the Name.
Of course, my opinion, but I have owned hundreds of Spyderco folders...I can't think of a bad one...

When did kizer become a not respected manufacturer?

From what i see on the reviews their S35 is quite good.

I'm sure ill get myself a spyderco or two someday, but i generally just don't like the look of them.
Something about a perfectly circular hole in the blade and the wide footprint when closed just doesn't speak to me.

No doubt they make amazing knives though.

Once you use one, you learn to love it.

Think of it as a normal looking woman that is a fantastic cook versus a fantastic looking woman that is an average cook.

You are always going to need to eat, but how often does she need to get dolled up. There is a reason they say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach...

Buy the Spyderco.

The steel can only do so much. If it has a crap heat treat, it can do even less while being a pain to sharpen...

Buy once, Cry once.
They are worth it if you want a knife that is going to be a "user". If you still don't like the looks, but want a quality S35vn, buy a CRK Sebenza or Inkosi.
