Heya. My birthday is coming up and a friend asked me what I wanted. I said I wanted an Izula (not the full survival kit, only the knife and sheath). So far the cheapest place I found has that for 41 and some change. I figured I'd ask if there were cheaper since I wanted her to save money (which we all could given the economy).

So...are there cheaper than 41, some change, and shipping?

Thanks in advance, and mods can lock this if it's not allowed, in which case, sorry in advance. :)

Looks like you found yourself a good price there. I am sure people can recombined where they bought their izula's but they are not going to be cheaper. And I can say RAT are worth ever cent I rather over pay a few dollars and buy from a respectable place then a ebay or shady internet place.

Twowolvesoutdoors.com, Knivesshipfree.com, Theknifeconnection.com.

Not always the cheapest but great service, great people and fast shipping.

And they're all friends of the forum.

I can only think of places that I know are good to deal with and buy from, they have reasonable prices but are dearer than $41.

knifeconnection seems the cheapest. Thanks guys. One quick question though. Does the basic knife/sheath combo come with paracord, or is paracord only included in the survival kit? 46.52 shipped from the-knife-connection.com :D

Paracord is only included in the kit, go to your local military surplus it shouldn't be too expensive there. P.S. you will love the izula, $41 dollars is a steal, it is worth every penny.

Been wanting one for a long time now. I'll take your advice on the military surplus store. I think I have one a few miles from me. EDIT: OMG, thank you for making me take the initiative in looking for a surplus store. I found one that actually stocks knives like spyderco, emerson, etc...something like 3 miles from my place. :O

I try to stay away from them, lol they make me poor. A lot of junk but many good items that everyone should have can be founs in most surplus shops. Where did you find it for $41 theknifeconnection was $46?

Knifeworks had it for 41something, excluding shipping. I added it to the cart and it comes out just shy of 50 bucks shipped. Theknifeconnection has it cheapest at 46.52 shipped.

I don't have many dedicated B&M knife stores around here, so this was a pleasant surprise. Never thought of checking at a surplus store. It'll be nice to handle some of the knives they have there like the Emersons and Spydies.

Hmm...black, green, or desert tan Izula? lol

I personally have the tan with od green paracord, black is always a safe bet, but the green just isn't the right shade for me, I like the old school OD green and RAT Green is more like a forest green, good luck.

You guys and your constant bloody Izula threads are really making me want to buy one... Geesh!!!!! It looks like a really useful small knife.

Lol, hey and when you get one you can change your name to somebody, sorry it was there. No really it is an awesome knife and if you ever regret buying it I am sure someone on here would love to take it off your hands. But you won't regret it so don't worry. Yes, come to the dark side, we have cookies!
