I have 2 old i guess you can call them antique slippies that i got from my great uncle. One of them has a pretty straight foward repair, it has a monster chip in it. On that one i just dont feel like taking the time to sharpen it out. The other one is not so simple. It has a broken bone scale that is missing a huge chunk and is falling off. On this one i am thinking of replacing the bone with bone or possibly getting some custom micarta or possibly carbon fiber scales made for it. So my question for you is do you know anyone who can do both of these repairs for a reasonable price? STR possibly?
