why dont all you whiners and cheapskates go start your own forums on ez-board? its FREE! ahhhh, your magic word. better yet, i think you should BUY all the software mike and spark have for this quality of forum, do all the sysop work yourselves, spend all the hours getting it running smoothly THEN open it all up for FREE! you will have your very own cheapskate heaven

you guys get to place free ads in the classifieds of your local papers too? i sure can see where a whole $1.49 could break a guy

Speaking of your whine and cheese board it better be free or I won't be going there. If you are thinking of charging anywhere near what you charge for your knives then I'll stick with Velveeta and Bali-Hai

Several who read this will not see the humor in it. You may get that Whine&Cheese forum yet.

All problems boil down to 2 simple things. Problem + Fix = Solution

The problem is simple. This place costs money to run. Spark and I want to get paid for the time we spend here fixing things and making this place run. I will get paid or I will shut this place down. I may be throwing good money after bad with the auctions and classifieds but I will give it a go and we will see what comes up. It will probably take a couple of months to get those sections up to speed but I am prepared for that.

The funny thing is that many of the people who have gripes do not even understand my motivation. I simply want this site to at least pay for itself. After that I can put more money into it to get even better software to do more things here. Like virtual knife shows, live web casts, live knife sharpening training, live knife fighting instruction, 3-D knife pictures (Camera costs $4K now for that) and more. But I can't do it unless this site is generating revenue.
