For a few years now i have been wanting a Tom Brown Tracker (I know what was I thinking) The other day on wandered into my shop so i did some creative bartering and aquired this peice (i did not trade a becker for it so dont panic). I have been playing with it for a few days and took it on a little walk with me. God i missed my bk2 the knife has many uses but you need to take the instruction book with you LOL imagine a knife with instructions. so now i am trying to make amends with my beloved bk2 she has been giving me the cold shoulder since the trip will some one help me find a way to get back in here good graces. All joking aside the Tracker is a very sturdy and useful knife but does not hold a candle to the BK2 Thank you Ethan for a wonderful tool

Any chance there will be pictures Of the other woman in the offing?

I've known of a a jilted BK-2 to make you pay in the red stuff, maybe a little heave striping would make amends?

My friend was asked to make a Tracker-style knife for a customer. It's a goofy thing.
It started out as 3/16" 440C, but he wasn't happy with that. So he forged flat a ~3/8" 5160 leaf spring and ground a new version out of it. It's not finished yet and the blank weighs about 2lb.

Ugh. Talk about cheating down. Better buy your Becker flowers and expect her to never let it go as she is batoning through those "saw teeth" on the spine.

Best trot line weight I ever used. :D
