Cheburkov Killer Whale

Very nice. I don't think I've ever seen carbon fiber done like that. And the lines of the knife in the blade-open pics are graceful and dramatic, but not overmuch.

I like a big knife. :)
I too had never seen marbled carbon fiber. I’m sure there’s lots more out there though.

The lines of it reminds me of my Olamic Cutlery Wayfarer.

Oklahoma Outlaw Oklahoma Outlaw Is M390 your favorite of the available stainless steels? I seem to recalling seeing Larrin on a YouTube video saying that it was overrated. Maybe he likes his MagnaCut better.
Not necessarily, although I own a bunch of it. I really like 154CM because a couple of compounds, a strop, and 15 minutes later you can shave your arm with it. I like S35VN and CPM 20CV as well.

It seems there is a lot of makers using M390. I do like it or I wouldn’t buy it.

Several Russian makers are using M398. Larrin doesn’t have a lot good to say about it……but personally I don’t think M390 is overrated. But I’m not a metallurgist like Larrin either. 🤷‍♂️

What's the blade tip resting on in the pictures? Ti? Carbon Fiber? Hopefully not something that will ding your edge.
