I too had never seen marbled carbon fiber. I’m sure there’s lots more out there though.Very nice. I don't think I've ever seen carbon fiber done like that. And the lines of the knife in the blade-open pics are graceful and dramatic, but not overmuch.
I like a big knife.![]()
Skip ahead to 2:10…LOLVery nice! Congo rats on your new toy.
Almost forgot ...
Will it baton?
Not necessarily, although I own a bunch of it. I really like 154CM because a couple of compounds, a strop, and 15 minutes later you can shave your arm with it. I like S35VN and CPM 20CV as well.Oklahoma Outlaw Is M390 your favorite of the available stainless steels? I seem to recalling seeing Larrin on a YouTube video saying that it was overrated. Maybe he likes his MagnaCut better.
I really like marbled carbon fibre, it has an organic quality about it. No two slabs are the same. That looks fantastic btw.I too had never seen marbled carbon fiber. I’m sure there’s lots more out there though.
The lines of it reminds me of my Olamic Cutlery Wayfarer.
Thank you, brother.I really like marbled carbon fibre, it has an organic quality about it. No two slabs are the same. That looks fantastic btw.
Pretty catchy music don’t you think?Congrats, it looks amazing!
And thanks for the video link.
Duly noted. That’s a beast. You should name it “Free Willy”
Not sure I understand…but leather…or pleather. There is a travel stop when closing. What's the blade tip resting on in the pictures? Ti? Carbon Fiber? Hopefully not something that will ding your edge.
