This knife has Jackstraw written all over it. It would fit right in with his other fancy & pre-tactical Emersons in his collection.
 
Has the feeding frenzy actually died out? No takers for a one of a kind Viper1? Joel indicated the seller's reserve is $3100 - I guess we know the top now!
 
Nice knife.

What's up with the hand ground production knife? I hate to sound paranoid but who says that Ernie himself hand ground the blade? It looks like a production knife to me and unless I was getting it straight from the man himself I would be skeptical. How does one verify such a claim?

arkhamdrifter: Perhaps Derek or Ernie can verify this, but I believe the use of the Specwar logo indicates a blade that has been handground by Ernie.

I went back and reread the discription of the CQC-7B which indicates a SPECWAR Logo. I missed that important detail the first time around. That's kinda cool.
