I started this project a while back and got pretty busy with school and all. Needless to say but the project got put on the back burnner for a while. Well Last Friday, I had some free time. I went to the shop to finish rough shaping the stag.

It is not finished, but it is almost there. I just need to do some final sanding, and polishing. Well here are a few pics of the knife in progress.

It is stag (deer antler) that has been sanded down. I did not have a peice that would have been thick enough to keep the bark on it. Maybe next hunting season I will have some more stag :D, and try another knife. I still have a nice peice left that could be sanded down like this one and it might go into a 110 or 112. I will have to wait until May before I start another project. Finals are coming up next week and I will have my nose in the books for a while.

Looks fantastic. Nice job on the scales. Please show another pic when complete.
 
Thanks guys for all the kind words. I hope to have this baby finished up by the weekend, but there is no telling. I will get some more pics as soon as it is finished.
