So I drew up this idea I had in my head for John to create in his shop. Check out the thread below where I shared the design and my thoughts. The knife has been dubbed the BlackSheep for obvious reasons ;)

The green liners really set this knife off. I'm a HUGE fan of green liners and this knife drives home my opinion! The handle is super comfortable. I asked John to have the handle be a bit smaller towards the guard so it fits in my girly hands perfectly and it does. This is super comfortable in a myriad of grips and the jimping on the spine is spot on.

I have been crazy busy with work and everything else so I haven't really had a chance to put it to too much use. My intended use for this is an end all be all utility knife. I can't wait for the garden season to come back around so I can put it to some good use and get a good review on it.

There is no question in my mind that this will accel in the woods as well.

The hollow pins are gorgeous and the sheath is perfect. I had it designed so it would fit in front and back pockets and it does fine. The other side of the sheath I haven't decided to use for yet but I think I'll be ordering another, matching knife with a different blade shape from John to fill the void.

I like it. Those sheaths rock! I have one for my ewok and it is very comfortable. Congratulations on a good design and great knife.

That is very nice. I agree the green liners just set it off.

I like almost every knife I see that John has made, but something like yours is on the short list to be ordered. I also need a sheath like that!

Very nice. I think that is the perfect blade shape. It will be a handy knife.
Love the green liners.
