I went to SpeedTech today because Jim O'Young mentioned that he had in stock a knife configured the way I wanted. Once the box was opened and I got to handle it, I knew that I couldn't leave without it

Here's a pic of my new toy (along with a new ray-skin wallet, from KnifeArt). This beauty is glass-smooth and scary sharp

I especially like the polished stonewash finish, also check out the new thumbstuds. Again, I'm a happy camper

Nice catch! I had the chance to hole Nifrands for a short while and like the grind of the blade, the flat grind that is and how well it slices, as you said, sharp!

Comfortable handle as well, and sleek just about says it all!

Nice shot!

Fortunately I am not limited to pictures. When I want to see one I just pull one out of my pocket

Hi Blackz28,

I've got a question,{please excuse my ignorance}, do you have the Titanium handle on your Synergy? The handle color doesn't seem to look like any of the color options on the Speedtech website for the Aluminum handle.

Thanks Doug.

Thanks Guys,

I love this knife

Doug - This knife has the pewter colored aluminum handle (I guess the lighting threw off the color, it actually looks more of a purple/bluish color).

Kelly,

Seeing your synergy on a previous post was the reason why I chose the Pewter color.

Very nice... I'm going to have to put that on my list.

Come to think of it, it was Kelly's post of his Kit Carson Model 4 w/ buckeye burl that prompted me to order a Model 4. Kelly, you ought to start charging a commission!

Nice knife! Nice wallet! I got a rayskin wallet too from Knifeart! I hear that someone's had one for over 10 years and it's still going strong. It's supposed to be the most durable leather out there. I'm getting a rayskin purse for my girlfriend to match.

When I get on this new contract for my job, I'm gonna give Jim at Speedtech a call and order me one. I like the rough thumbstuds and will probably lean towards getting the green or the Nardina california camo handle.

Was the polished stonewashed blade an option that costs extra or is that included with the price? Thanks.

Wow, very nice knife and very nice picture. I like the new thumbstuds. Reminds me of Sebenza thumbstuds. Always a good thing.

Nightglock,

That ray-skin is supposed very tough, plus it's not bad to look at also. I remember the pic you posted in the decorated knife\gun thread at CRK forum. My wife wants a purse in ray-skin, after she saw the wallet

The polished stone-washed finish & textured thumb-studs are options INCLUDED in the base price. The Synergy's cost was $250
