I had Buck put a satin finish on my Buck Strider 880. Joe Houser and Buck Knives did a stellar job! Thank you Joe Houser and Buck Knives.

It looks good. I'm a big fan of bead blast finish, but I guess it is there to subdue reflection, something I don't need.
 
i think it looks really great, the original finish has a gritty look to it while this finish looks more classy
 
Manji, the bead blast finish is not gritty; it is smooth. The digital pics I posted are grainy. The factory bead blast is really nice but I prefer satin.
