yeah it is a neat new look.
I should preface my post by first stating that I am a marketing assistant with SOG, and over the past several months its been my pleasure to be directly involved with the site's redesign.
I think I can speak for all of us in the SOG Marketing Department when I say we're overjoyed with your positive feedback. Our intent with the new design was a unique blend of industrial and militaristic design that also appealed to outdoor enthusiasts. Our goal was to create a new site design unlike anything you've ever seen on the web- but that's not to say we don't want it to look good too!
I also want to stress that the site is by no means complete- over the coming months we'll be adding more content as it becomes available, and as always we love feedback- both positive and negative. Yes, we are working on some wallpapers. Give us some time to get all the bugs and kinks worked out on the new site. There are some features that have not yet been turned on for the site that we are working on.
