The Sarki Shop has a new look. Tell us what you think. You will also find our July Special on our web page. Just click on the arrow.

God Bless,
Sandi

The page doesn't work properly with Netscape. When I go to the shop I have to use explorer for the links and pictures to load properly.

I think most people use explorer anyways. I use Netscape to shake an angry fist at Bill Gates. :)

BruiseLeee, I use Opera (the #3 Browser). The page comes in just fine. So far it has only given me problem with one forum.

Check'em out at www.opera.com

Sarki Shop, nice stuff. I especially like the scabards with the cammo covers.

I've seen Opera but don't like the banner ad thingy. However, as Netscape seems to only open about 95% of sites, I might have to switch eventually. :(

Raghorn,
The service we use is a free one so it shuts down when there is too much traffic. Try again a little later and you should be able to get in.
God Bless.

I continue to use IE because I know Willy Gates only has my best interest at heart.

I also believe in Santa, the Easter Bunny, and that a crazy Duck lives in a cave in Florida.

:D

Bruise, I use netscape for the same reason. I Have the Opera free version, but
am too comfortable to switch at present. but may go Explorer when it gets less painful to learn microshaft than stay with Netscape.

Far as I'm concerned Goats is kinkier then Michael Jackson and OJ Simpson put together. He should be parachuted into Iran locked into a semitruck traler full of park products. and a pornoographic videotape of him and an underage girl and boy. He should be sent to prison and become Wilhelmina instead of Billy Goats.

Cutting rant off before I really get into this it.

I've tried the Netscape and Opera browser's but I still prefer Internet Explorer.
It is the easiest of all of them for me to get around in and I haven't had any problems with it, but since I'm largely computer illiterate I probably wouldn't know the difference anyway.
I.E. is just easier for me and I, for one, like the format better. :)

Thanks for the input guys. Sandi works pretty hard around the Sarki Shop and I don't have to pay her very much. Just a bowl of rice and a few slices of bread.:D
Don't forget to check out the July special coupon on the website.
Print it off and send it with your order of $50 or more for $5.00 off.
God Bless.

This rice and bread thing has to STOP!!! The bread is stale and I have to buy and cook my own rice. That doesn't sound like payment at all. I want $$$ and LOTS of $$$. I think you guys need to talk to The Sarki and get me a raise. I think health insurance, vacation and daycare should be included in my contract. Oh, and I don't want to be put on Salary. I want to be paid by the hour. That way I will get paid 24 hours a day. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Sandi

Careful Sandi, you'll have a bunch of UN guys showing up at your house in their blue berets, and they'll back a big old truck right up to your door. The truck will be loaded with, you guessed it, bread and rice.

I used Netscape myself for years and years. I used to keep a copy of IE around for those few sites whose creators refused to follow the HTML guidelines and instead just created everything for IE. Bad move. You should always check out your page with multiple browsers. MS is notorious for introducing "new standards" on the fly and therefore not following the agreed upon standards.

All that said, I shifted to the "product improved" version of Netscape over a year ago. Go to http://mozilla.org/ and download the version appropriate to your platform. It is available for various levels of Windows and Mac systems. Mozilla introduced the idea of "tabs" and once you start using them you can't go back. Instead of opening multiple windows (like I used to do) you open a New Tab. You can have as many open tabs as you want. They show as little "finger tabs" right below the navigation box and over the main window. And the coolest thing is that you can "Bookmark this Group of Tabs."

So here is what I do with it. I open the app in the morning. It hits my home page and opens it. I then have a single bookmark I named Default. I click it one time. It then opens 8 tabs, each one pointed at a site that I watch every day. Each one loads up at once. Then I just click on which tab I want to read.

It's harder to explain than it is to use. Go get Mozilla! (And it works for Terry's site above. I tried it.)

(The only people who probably shouldn't be using Mozilla are those graced people using Mac OS X. Mozilla is available for OS X and I have used it but you might as well use Safari. It is being updated constantly and it has tabs as well.)
