Here is the first offering by one of our new kamis. I don't know his name yet but his mark is the fish. This is a 22 inch, 2.5 pound, 7/16 thick Sisneyri khukuri and he has done a very commendable job on it. The fit is very good and the finish is about 5 or 10 percent shy of magic stone mirror. He has done an excellent job with the inlay, alternating brass and copper in six inlays on each side -- forgive the poor pix!. The hardness of the blade is right up there, 59 to 60 Rc. The karda and chakma are very well done and edge on karda is near 60 Rc, too. In all we will give this new fish kami about a 9.8 out of 10 on his first effort. He is going to make the grade, no doubt.

The scabbard is very nicely done but was not done by the sarki with no name and has no tooling. The frog is a 100 year HI superfrog.

We will deliver this knife and its twin (two available) to your door for $145.

And, good news for Prakash fans. It looks like he is back until some woman drags him off again. He made and marked (small khukuri -- I always liked his mark!) another Sisneyri almost identical to the one in the picture. It, too, is yours delivered to your door for $145.

Call of email if you want to take a look at what our new kami can do or are an old Prakash fan!

Not all gone, after all.

The customer for the Prakash model decided it was too big for him and opted for a smaller khukuri. So, the Prakash version is up for grabs again.

I found out that this Prakash khukuri had a cracked handle and the handle was replaced at BirGorkha by an unknown kami. So, blade by Prakash and handle by unknown kami. The scabbard is very good but not made by the sarki with no name. Karda and chakma very good and nice size. Frog is 100 year HI superfrog.

Call or email for the last blade by the kami with too many women, Prakash.
