My buddy bought a lot of knives and these were in it! Great shape and pretty cool. As far as I can tell they are from 1965-1969 based on the tang stamp. They seem to have the original edge and the walk and talk is pretty good!

The big single bladed hunter is my favorite, but the k ly thing I can find is that they all had a SAB after the number and this one doesnt. Can anyone provide me with any additional info about the models? I looked up the model codes and know generally what each knife is.

Yeah my buddy was shocked when i told him they were 50+ years old
 
I have a 6165 from that same era and it doesn't have the SAB marking either, but, has a saber ground blade. I don't worry about it because I am convinced it is original. ;) 😊
 
There are two fixed blades in his lot made by a guy named Ralph Bone from Lubbock Texas. They seem to be inspired by randall/scagel knives. Anyone know anything about them? I will post pics tomorrow.

Google.....plenty of information on Ralph Bone knives.......
 
I did google them. I saw many pics and read lots of good stuff but couldnt find anything that looked ike the two models my buddy bought.
