Check out this coating!!!

So I sent two blades to Josh at Razor Edge to get a PVD coating, very similar to DLC.

Well.... They TURNED OUT GREAT!!! Thx to Josh!!!

I sent an INFI and SR-101 BATEC, but now I call them the BO-BATAC!

BLACKED OUT BATAC!!!

The INFI version has dimples and it looks so nice!!! It has black canvas!!! The SR-101 has Black G10 and has a nice smooth bead blasted finish put on by Josh as well.

The pics aren't the best but they will do for now!!! I did a comparison pic with some other blades. I think the next two are my DC Swatmandu and Urban Grudge!!!

These things look great but the lighting kind of sucks, any smudges you see are just finger prints.

How much does something like that cost, if you don't mind me asking? I have a BG BATAC that I'd like to get that treatment. Brad blast the coating off, and the pvd it. Or some other smoother coating. Feel free to PM me.

I think it all depends on what you want, but Josh can give you a more accurate price, but I think the coating was around $80 but I am not entirely sure because I got other stuff done. For me having the coating which resists all wear makes SR-101 outstanding... Well in theory of course because I haven't used them yet and just got them back.
