[Sharpnessis]

My coworker showed me this old knife sharpener he purchased years ago. He thinks it may have been in a barbershop. I have never seen one but the thing still works! Plug it in and press the button and the stone vibrates while the knife is in the little guide.

I thought some of you might enjoy seeing this old piece of Americana. Maybe one of you has seen one before?

Hey that's pretty cool. I wonder if they sold replacement stones for them.

Most importantly, how well does it sharpen?

I didn't really try to sharpen with it. The stone is all clogged up. I'm going to see if he will trade me something for it and I'll clean it up and try it.

Yeah I would too. Ever seen a microtome sharpening machine? Look one up. Reminds me of a high tech version of that sharpener.
