Just wanted to share this...

Political discussions are only allowed in the Political Arena, for which you need a paid subscription.

We do have rules for political discussions, we need to follow them:

Tell us the story, in your own words.
Tell us what you think about it, maybe what we might do.
Give us a link, if possible an analysis of what the source's interests are.

Really not supposed to copy and paste huge blocks of text or just give us a link to a reading or viewing assignment.

Why the rules? To start a productive conversation. Tossing out a partisan propaganda piece is counterproductive. Without a thoughtful, intelligent thesis, we will not see a thoughtful, respectful response.

Another prosecutor wanting to go to congress creating a nightmare for a kid and his parents because he can. The blind obeisance of some prosecutors and police officers is amazing.

I hope Wiser sues them once he's exonerated.

He most certainly should have allowed the petition to continue. The only way he would have gotten out of all this is to gain more public attention, which he unfortunately won't receive enough here

This is simply an outrage. There is the "law", and then there is Justice. Although I fully understand the fears and nightmares every school board and principal must have after horrors like Sandy Hook (may those unfortunate souls rest in peace, amen)...there is the simple matter of CONTEXT here that seems to be utterly lost on the authorities.

Whatever happened to common sense?

Can this be moved to political? Cause this story really stinks of some police state tactics, and I know the mods aren't into bringing politics to General.
