Check out what I just won!

Congrats...A little oil, a little 0000 steel wool, some elbow grease...you will have a real looker and user there. But for now remember that threatening the mailman won't make it get there any faster.

Sweet! The "Mustang" model - I got one a couple years back too, and also one of the UHenry's version. Great knives-congrats.

I'm not a huge fan of Ebay in general, but every now and then a nice little item pops up under the radar cheap! Very good knife you grabbed there!

Great catch! Congrats!

I know a lot of people criticize ebay, but I have probably bought about 20 plus knives on ebay, and some great deals, and I some I stopped bidding, too high. There is a steady endless supply, so the market stays stable for the most part, making it easy to secure a retail or auction value of any make or model. I go in and out of purchasing on ebay. I like to sell stuff around the house for those guilt free purchases.. Enjoy your knife, that is a good value.

The thing that amazes me, if the pics are accurately portraying the knife I bought, this thing looks like it has had little to no use. I can't seem to see any marks from sharpening at least.

I do not want to rain on your parade, but wait til you get your knife prior to concluding the quality. There are lots of details the seller may be holding back due to dishonesty, or desire to make money. Pictures will not show blade wobble, scratching due to rust removal done way wrong etc. I truly hope your knife is great, it may very well be. I have spent some money (not much) educating myself on crooked sellers who hide stuff. One fishing Imperial knife I bought, had a long engraving mark the length of the blade. It was not disclosed, nor pictured. I won it for 8 dollars, but none the less was dissappointed by the non disclosure. I emailed the seller, to comment, but to no reply, so I made a note not to buy from the seller. An open knife without seeing a birdseye shot of it closed may have had it's length shortened by reforming on a broken tip. I fell for that once also. Proceed with caution, but do not let caution get in the way of the fun. Nor should you grow cynical, there are many more honest sellers than greedy soul selling people.

That little bit of wisdom is worth the price of admission any day.

Good point cj65. I have to admit the last one I bought didn't look quite as good as its pictures and description led me to believe it would, so I definitely see where you're coming from.

That has happened to me all too often in the past. Now I make sure to buy from only reputable sellers, or I get lots of extra pictures to make sure it is correct.

I just picked my knife up from the post office today, and...it looks just like it did in the photos. There's a nice snap when I open it up, and it snaps closed rather well. There isn't much of an edge, but it really doesn't look it has seen much use. Also, the scratches that are present appear to go along the blade horizontally, rather than vertically like sharpening marks. There is some minor pitting on the spine and the lockbar, but nothing that I probably can't polish off. I was surprised that the blade also looks rather well-centered. All in all I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I'll try and get some after photos up when I'm done.
