i like that medicroll it definately could make for a decent survival kit and the pocket organizer its kinda like an outdoorsman's pocket protector, but i still think it could come in handy

I have the pocket organizer, its not really as handy as i thought it would be but it is a cool way to keep stuff relativeley organized in my bdu pockets while on ems duty, I keep extra pen, keys, spare batteries for mini mag, Cheat sheets for refernce, and a few other odds and ends that I Like to have just in case.

It came in a two pack, I am thinking of tayloring the other one to wilderness navigation, or sar, I see a small notebook pens, a campas tape measure, straight edge piece.etc

the pocket organizer is not waterproof. i have one, and use it as a notepad. i have had it about 4 months. the zipper just went bad last week.

the spec ops version is made a better, imo. but the prices on the countycomm stuff is unbeatable.

You might try doing a search for the pocket organizer. I've seen them elsewhere. Maybe ebay and if you are looking for inexpensive gear bags, ebay is full of them for a whole lot less money.

The mediroll is on my list for the wife (EMT/Postal carrier). It'll work great as an onboard medical/emergency gear bag for her LLV.

I am not looking at them simply for cost. I absolutely HATE cheap gear that fails or won't stand up to abuse. I just thought that they looked like good bags regardless of price. I really like the looks and design layout of their Gen 5 Bail Out Bag, does anyone know how well they are actually made and how they will hold up? Does anyone else make a similar mag as far as layout and size that is of better quality?

Don't know if the bag configurations suit your needs or not, but I've been using the heavyweight nylon bags from Duluth Tradingfor several years and have had no problems at all.

Not to be confused with Duluth Pack....

Also, if you're filthy rich, check out the canvas bags from Filson. I have one of their Tin Cloth jackets, and it simply cannot be destroyed.

I saw something similar at one of the big box stores except it had a Eddie Bauer logo. It was surprizingly well made.

Thanks for the replies and feedback. I will be placing an order with CountyComm tomorrow.

The "pocket organizer" has been showing up at lots of places. I got one at Major Surplus ($9.95 - sold as "BDU Wallet")

I've been pretty happy with the stuff I've purchased from CountyComm. They do "puff" a bit, but that's expectable.

Ed: On the other hand, they may have the worst website in this timeline.
