hello again..
I had posted in a previous post about this Dual Lock stuff that it is like velco on steroids..and I had adjusted a Perrin Lagriffe for a multi carry postition system ( see that thread HERE ) Well I always carry a blade when im out bikin..so I use the same pocket clip and attach it to another piece of dual lock this time at the bottom of a Bud Nealy Cave Bear..effectivly making it a MASS system instead of the MCS system that comes with the knife..the knife is in the upside down postition and is attached to the shoulder strap of my hydra pack..I think any hiker, biker, mall ninja, hunter, etc ..would love a carry at this position..I can easily pull the blade out and put back in while on my bike..( I know you are expecting a exciting "celtech story" about how I was attacked by a team of rabid dogs or drug addicts after my bike but sorry I used it a few times to open power bars..the dam wrappers wont open when your all schweeettyy..!) edited to add I also use buds belt loop carry on the sheath and wrapped around the strap of the hydra pack just for extra security..dont want my blade unclipping when Im whizzing down a mountian..

anyway check it out..Credit goes to Bud Nealy for this ..I just messed with his idea a bit..

That's a sweet rig Ren. Plus, you never know when you'll be riding past a Bistro when some guy on another bike asks you for a cigarette and money for air in his tires.

Thanks, I'll have to check it out. Right now my biking blade is a BM Nimvarus (sp?), wither full-size or Cub, worn handle down from my belt, were it's mostly hidden by my vest. However, I've been toying with the idea of having a sheath built-in to the leather suspenders I usually wear when riding. It sounds like with this stuff I could just mount it on the 'spenders without having them altered.

For the suspenders, it might be more sound attachment to have a small stiff peice of some material glued to the back of the suspender - the dual lock and knife going on the opposite side. This should prevent the suspender from buckling at the point where the dual lock is attached.

I have an MCS knife of Buds where I also ordered a MASS sheath for the same knife. It is completely flexible. For example, I can remove the knife from my person and insert into a sheath positioned under the dashboard when driving.

Good idea. I have been planning on having my chaps altered to include metal loops for the suspenders to snap on to -- right now they attach to the belt loops of my jeans.

I currently carry a Gerber multi-tool on my suspenders, as well as a folder such as a BM or REKAT clipped to 'em, as well as a pouch for my cigars. I don't need the suspenders for holding my pants up, but for "equipment" carry. That's why I was thinking of having a sheath built-in to 'em. But with some sort of velcro system I could have more flexibility as to what toy I want to carry.
