This is one that is offered to me for sale, I am considering it. I don't know how rare these are, or the approximate value. Any help?

That's pretty sweet, Haven't seen one like it. Don't know what it's worth, but would like to know how much he's offering.....

Looks, by the punyo, to be an early Bali-Song USA 4" WeeHawk with ivory micarta inserts. Do you know if the knife was scrimmed from the 'factory'? The knife, with original sheath, IMHO would be in the $500 range. If the scrimshaw could be authenticated as original with the knife, I would add another $100-$200 to that figure..... This pricing would be for a knife in excellent condition and not flogged, abused, loose, etc....

That, is the coolest danm bali I've ever seen. If I had the money, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

It's hard to tell from just that picture. It sure looks like it could be a Benchmade/Pacific Cutlery/Bali-Song custom, but you just can't say for sure from this picture. The insert could be micarta or ivory (both white micarta and ivory yellow some with age and I don't trust the colors in this picture that much).

The quality of the scrimshaw would be critical and we'd have to see the other side too. Better pictures are required.

Dudley, check your mail.
Chuck, thanks for the info. I will pass on your offer to the seller.

This knife is being offered for $600. And I must admit that it is currently beyond my means

otherwise the caption would have read "It's MINE"

Definitely unique! I thought it was used judging by the blade but still unsure. But indeed, Nice!
