Surfing ebay and found a seller who has purchased quite a bit of the end stock from the bankruptcy auction. He has many Schrades listed in his ebay store but I am afraid of them since they are the last ones out the door and the quality is probably very questionable.
Anyway, I stumbled on this one. It must have been a last second put together. Make sure to check out the tang stamp on the blade!

It must take someone a long time to post all of those ads.
I like the orange Sharpfinger, is that a fair price?
Thanks,RHP

I think they averaged around $25 before they went out of business. This sellers shipping is also reasonable. We have been spoiled by some of the great deals we have found but they are getting fewer and fewer.

Interesting knife, Phil. Perhaps be a good pocket carry.

Yep, that ain't a bad price for an Orange handled sharpfinger. I paid just a bit more for mine, really adds a splash of color to my SF display. And I can't think of a better color for a real outdoorsman to use. Ever laid down a really well camo-finished knife while field dressing game at dusk? I have.

Speaking of these 'last second put-toethers'... Yep Phil, I'm afraid of them as well. Some of them look like decent users, and probably would be. Future collectibility? Depends on how knife history and collectors will look upon these things. I suspect, and I'm putting my own money on, other Schrade products, however. Here's a couple from ebay that have already sold. Quality knives made when Schrade-Walden were at the top of their game. Any of them for about the price of two of the factory close-outs/rejects/put-togethers. One of them went for about the same price as the 'put-together' shown above.
