yep^.

so many production knives with super rough grippy type scales don't do this and shred pocket badly.....and quickly. like this....

this pocket got this way from older rough texture g10 cold steels, like recon1s before they smoothed the handles. also some emersons.

Both front pockets look like that in every pair of pants I own. Knife on one side and flashlight on the other does them in. But I must say that the smoother scales treats the pockets much nicer. I sometimes think I need a Batman utility belt for all the crap I carry in my pockets.
