I bought one of these knives in a tourist shop in Skagaway, AK last spring. They are the real deal. Tempered well and come razor sharp. Made by a real Alaskan.
 
I'll be getting a 3"-3 1/2" Eskimo from him in the near future. Then I'll have a native sheath made up for it. I really like the simplistic and rugged beauty in MLs knives.
 
Neat, and nice. I love primitive and traditional cutting impliments.
 
i really like those ulus....:thumbup: if i'm not mistaken, that is the same guy that was recenty featured in tactical knives.. i think his name is maynard linder... he does some really nice work...
