I looked in to making a Wall Hanger or encased in glass (Like that Knife Keep under Glass Pocket Knife Jimmy) for an M-7 Bayonet with a front brass/metal Knuckle Buster handle I did some checking...good thing I did.
I found out in my state one cannot even own one what so ever and its never ever allowed legally. The Brass/Metal Knuckle part is FORBODEN. Good thing I was checking knife laws and such began with coming to The Blade Forums that reminded one to check one's own state and local laws as it helped me find that little thing that could of been problematic if I didn't look.
I thought it would of been good for display only...but nope. Its a never ever not to own what so ever. And I think even owning a disassembled one or parts of them is an arrestable offense.
One can own sharpened swedge ""EVIL Daggers" in my state, just don't take those out in the public what so ever. But I never thought it would apply to a display item.
Hope this helps people to remind to check things out.
