Checker-ing the Sebenza

Like the checkering on a good gunstock. This would seem to be doable in the machine shop at CRK. Could this be an option that has not been tried yet.

Your best bet is to call CRK and ask if it can be done.
 
I doubt CRK would do it, but there was a post a couple of years ago where someone sent theirs to someone else ( a custom gun maker maybe?) looked really good. I contemplated doing the sae. Never got around to it.

I must say I’m extremely happy with the knife now. The checkered area gives perfect retention for the thumb when pulling the Benza out of the pocket and keeps is also very secure in my hand while using it.

In summary, friendly professional service and quick turnaround with an excellent result. Highly recommended!
