Checkering/jimping

Hello, im new here and im looking for a jimping/checkering hand file at around 10-15 LPI (lines per inch) does anyone have any experiense/advice?

-New knife maker looking for a thumb grip.:D
 
If you are looking for a source, I get most of mine from Midway USA. They carry the Grobet brand. It looks like the coarsest (fewest) lines per inch is 20, and the finest is 75 lines per inch. I have several different cuts, but I think the one I use most often has 30 lines per inch. I don't know how much they would charge for shipping, but you may be able to find some closer to you. Amazon carries the Grobet checkering files in the USA, but I don't know if they have Amazon where you live. Friedrich Dick also markets checkering files, as does Glardon-Vallorbe.
 
Yes, the finest Grobet file is 20 lpi. It is a common lament that coarser checkering files are not available.
