Have a question. I found reference to a company called CheckerMarx out in Ferndale, Wa. This company specializes in checkering woods, micarta's, metals, and such. I am thinking about having a titanium handled knife checkered to enhance the grip a bit. Does anyone have experience with this company and do you have pictures of knives checkered you can post?

THANKS!

Art, check the old posts on the CRK forum, I think that Rolf up in Marin had it done to a Sebenza.

Checked out the checkering (pun intended) on CRK with a search but pics only show as little red X's. Got some good useful info though so wasn't a wasted search. Guess I'll broaden it out and see if I can scare up some pictures. At the same time anyone with pics post 'em if you will. Thanks.

Hi Art,
To bad about May, huh? Reminds me of when Worthy broke his foot during his freshman year. We should be so lucky as to have May turn out to be like Worthy :D. Oh yeah, this was about checkering. I don't know if he does this or not but sc rebel 1957 does really good work from what I hear. I'm getting ready to send him two of my favorite Spydies for some modifications. You may have already talked to him but I thought I'd tell you just in case. Here is his cp with his email address: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/member.php?action=getinfo&find=lastposter&threadid=235934. Take care, t_f

Just when things start looking up.........it happens! Thats all right though as the 'Heels have overcome more adversity than that and still come out on top! Oh yeah this is about checkering. I had thought about sc rebel as I read some good things about him on the Spyderco forum. Might give him a call also. Thanks for the heads up trane. Thanks for the link stjames.
