Been a while since I was around full time. Have I really been a member here since Y2K? Sheesh.

Anyhoo, I'm looking to see if all my old posse is still upright and breathing. Y'all know who ya are. Please drop a message here and let me know you're alright and doin' well.

Been raisin' kids and buildin' a house. Boys are 7 and 10, and the house is about 90 days old. Keeps a bastid busy ya know. Ain't bought a new knife in a looooong time. Get me one soon tho.

I'm still kickin'.

I did have this 'little' surgery in January, where they cut and sawed open my chest, hooked me up to a machine, shut off my heart, cut out my aortic valve, and sewed in a stainless steel and plastic replacement. Used the device in my avatar to restart my heart.

Other than that, all is well.

How are you doin'?
 
All of that body modification sounds spendy, Mike. Figgered maybe you'd wait around for the new National Health Care Plan to kick in. Prolly save a couple of Sebenzas in co-pays.

Got myself elected to the city council. I don't recommend it for anybody. Might have to get the business card of that cardiac guy of yours before the next election cycle. My term's going to expire or I'm gonna.... toss of the coin to see which comes first.

Otherwise, smooth sailing over here. Anybody chat anymore?

No chat that I know of. I have seen some folks mention it, but I'm not aware of amy Bladeforums chat rooms anymore.
 
Dam-The-Luck, Mike. Had some of the biggest belly laughs of my life in the old BFC Chat daze. Timmy, PhilL, MD2020, Kit...... brings a smile to my face just thinkin' about some of the exchanges there.

You thinking about the patience I must have as a councilperson makes me think of the "Moderator" moniker under your handle, Bro. Just like a ref at the basketball game: Blow the whistle.... no matter which way the call goes, half the crowd is ticked off. Welcome to it.
