Hope all is going well. Dont have time to check all the threads since I`m at an internet cafe in Peru. Trip went great. Film crew did really well. Bear got a TON of knife photos. The RC6 did really well butchering a mid-sized gator. Could not have asked for a better trip. Covered a lot of jungle survival skills. More when we get home.

Hey everyone, Mike and Jeff are almost home but I am in purgatory (Lima airport). I will be home monday morning. Trip was excellent, lots of learning and even more laughs than you could imagine. Got to play with many many knives and use the new RAT knives even the pink Izula. Will share more in a few days.

Glad you guys didn't get completely eaten alive by biting insects (just mostly).

I'll be watching the mailbox for my gator jerky Jeff.:D

Glad to hear the trip went well, Can't wait for the full scoop and pics.

Just now getting back online and checking through some of the new posts. Probably won't get to them all so if there is anything that needs my attention please just re-post it and we'll go from there.

Bear and I will post a bunch of pics when we have time to sort through all of them. This trip was a lot of fun. The Dutch crew did great. They are suppose to send us a link to the program so it can be viewed online once it's ready. The name of the company that's producing it is BNN (from Holland) and the name of the show is "Try Before You Die." Anyway, we will post a link once we get it. The show is suppose to air in September and will be about 30 minutes in length. Unless you speak Dutch, Spanish and English then you may not be able to understand parts of the show since the participant would sometimes ask a question in Dutch and he would get a response in English or Spanish. Anyway, it was fun and a lot of out-takes and spoofs from screw-ups that were pretty funny.

Can't wait for the link! So I take it he made it out on his own, or did ya have to go get him?

He was in the jungle with the cameraman and the director and they all 3 made it out by themselves. None of them had any compass and navigation experience before going in so we spent a lot of time training them on this skill. They were in the jungle alone for 2 days. They did well and had to travel over some pretty rough terrain on part of their trek.
