Checking in from Kuwait

Well, I've made it to my first stop in the Iraq area of operations, Kuwait. It's hot, (126*) dry, and dusty. No surprises there, as it hasn't changed much since I was last here. But it seems that the heat doesn't bother me as bad as it did the last time I was here. Oh, yeah, I also have better internet service than last time. Not by much, but enough that I can at least check my e-mail daily. We have some training to do here, and then we will be off to Iraq. I am now officially in the combat theater of operations, however the area where I'm at is considered a safe zone.

Watch your six. A good buddy of mine will be going over there with the 100th Infantry in about two months.

Hopefully after one tod over there things will be winding down and none of our troops will have to be over there any longer.:cool: :D
