Hello everybody. Got back at about 10 PM last night and started answering email. Still got a ways to go this AM so I'll be around as soon as I get the fires put out.

Safe trip. Delta canceled my flight back I discovered when I got to Tulsa but they got me booked on United with no problems. Flight going was about 20% full. Flight returning was about 75%. Maybe people are getting more courage but the airports at both Tulsa and Reno looked pretty deserted. I talked with a skycap at Tulsa who told me he had almost no business and was not sure whether to try to hang in or look for employment elsewhere. Lots of folks are hurting.

Great convention. Small but what a fine bunch of folks and great time! Thanks again, Barb and Bro, for such a great effort. And thanks to all who made the journey. We'll see if we can't get something together in Reno in six months or so.

Stay tuned. I'm off to answer email and get some pending orders ready but will be back ASAP.

Welcome back!I'm the"only"one of your nephews that's behaved himself & if "ANYTHING"has happened ,just want you to know I will do my duty to inform you who it was!! Can't tell a lie,"It was Koz's fault!He did it whatever "it" is! A fitting punishment wil be NO,ZIP,NADA ,K's for a month!:) Uncle he did have help from Wal.,& AC!

Rus did well in your absence, and those of us who remained to hold the fort have comported ourselves without blemish, or dissention, to aid him with the burden. Jim, of course, is a bit disturbed (which means he is normal....for Jim) but all in all we have survived. Jim will, no doubt, be flooding your mail. Ignore him. He is distraught. He has just discovered that the procession of babes visiting him are public health nurses, assigned to evaluate him.

Jim, we warned you to lose the cape. Wear something that doesn't look odd in the Miami environment....like kilts and cowboy boots :D
 
Not surpriseing about Delta. It seems they have cut back flights some 15%.
And flying UNITED is the only way to go!!!!;)
 
Waco is having a hard time keeping any airlines here...period. This goes back to before the 11th, now the city is trying to keep at least one carrier, I think American?

We are 1 hour away from Austin and 2 from Dallas. Who wants to fly when you can drive? This is the middle of nowhere there is nothing to see or do out here other than go to a big city.

People tell me the same thing about the panhandle of Oklahoma, but Barb and myself "see" lots of things out there, as well as things to do.
After all the land isn't always as flat as it appears.;)

I said one thing, meant another...if I lived in the city I couldent get away and use these big shiny curved things. ;) I meant that that is what others think...or something like that. :)
 
I didn't really think you were the type to not see things where, to most people, there appears to be nothing, after getting to meet you in person.:D
