Hi All!

Just wanted to check in and say "Hi" to everyone. As I write, I'm sitting the middle of the Desert. I've forgotten what it's like to see temps less than 100F!

We've been here for about 1 1/2 months now, and have been busy. After hearing about the election results back in the states, we're just waiting to see what's going to happen next.

My Mrs. has been sending me the knife mags, but darn, I sure do miss the shop, not to mention being able to browse the forums, and talk to others who speak the same language. (knifemaking) :)

With any luck, we are suppose to rotate back to the States in late March or early April. Hopefully I can get home in time to make the Eugene show. If not, at least the Blade Show. Hope all is well with everyone, I look forward to getting back home, and into the knife world again!

Darn it's good to hear from you, Ed. Glad to see that you are all right.

The Republican win is going to mean a more hawkish point of view as far as Iraq is concerned, I think.

I am hoping to make it to Eugene and would really like to meet you there.

Our boy was over there on a big boat for six months (Navy parents here). He arrived a couple weeks after 9/11. Sounds like he was in about the same rotation as you're in.

That means you'll be spending the holidays there. That's tough for both you and the family. We know the feeling. We're all pulling for you guys over there.

The hawks are circling so, like the man said, watch your six.

COOL!

It is great to hear from you Ed! We all are behind you 100%. I'll be thinking of you while I'm hand sanding these 2 kitchen knives I'm working on.

Take care!

Ed,
Geat to hear from you. Stay safe buddy and let us know if there is anything we can lend a hand with back home.

Gus
