Just wanted to check in and say hi to everyone. Haven't been around much in the past year due to life getting really tough. We finally moved from Missouri to SE Idaho and that has been a good change. However over the past year and 1/2 and unexpectently, I lost my younger sister, 6 months later lost mom, 6 months later my dad and 6 months later my best friend Creed, my golden retriever buddy. Then a few weeks ago lost another old friend from back home. Too much to take in such a short time.

For my old buddy Creed, my son Adam built him a really nice pine casket and we were able to bury him on our property in Arimo Idaho. Planted some nice pine trees all around him. Even as I'm typing this I'm still hurting over losing him. We did just buy another golden. He's an awesome puppy and is going to be an amazing dog. I know he'll never replace my Creed but hopefully capture my heart just as much.

I'm looking forward to getting involved again here and with the old FBF family.

My condolences Bob, I'm sorry for all your losses. It seems the older we get the more friends and family we lose to time.

Tough stuff, hoping for brighter days ahead and looking forward to your interaction #fbfnewerguy

Very sorry to hear Bob. Have dealt with family loss in the last couple years also. Lost the 2 best dogs I will probably ever have within a year of each other, so I can definitely relate to still hurting over that.

Sorry to hear Bob. The last couple years have been hard on me too. Hang in there.
Looking forward to catching up with you. Happy to see you back here on the forum my friend.

Hey Bob. That’s a lot to handle brother. You got this though my friend. God isn’t going to give you more than you can Handle. Prayers and thoughts with you. 🙏🏻 Now when are you and Adam coming back to town for some guns and BBQ? I’ll let you keep the next one. LOL.

Hi Bob, I’m sorry for what you’re going through. I lost my German Shepherd, DJ, suddenly in October. I brought him in to put in his crate at noon and the next time I walked past the crate 2 hours later he had passed. No signs of illness or anything. He was 11, by far the best dog I’ve ever had. We often left him alone in the house for a week at a time to go on vacations with my dad letting him out a couple times a day and he never messed anything up in the house. He was amazing. I know what you’re going through and I’ll keep you in my prayers.

So sorry to hear of the losses of family and friends within a short period of time. Know they are watching over you and your family.

As for Creed ... there will be a little part of him in your new pup; he'll never be replaced but the new pup will help mend your heart with love and loyalty.

Sending positive vibes for new beginnings in Idaho.
