Ordered a BK9 this week after reading the Becker forum for a week or so. I am stoked about receving it and starting some campfires with my kids. Always been a knife addict and a enjoy a campfire. I have never payed much attention to the survival aspects, but it seems interesting enough (never know). I spend my free time outdoors hunting, fishing, and field trialing dogs. Knives have always played a important role in my activeities and I'm sure I'll like my Becker. I enjoy the atmosphere of this forum and just decided to say hello

First off, welcome to the forum. As you've noticed, this place is a little bit nuts (in a good way). We like to have a bit of fun :).

I'm in kind of the same boat as you, I'm no survival expert, but I've always liked camping and knives, and so far I seem to be fitting in just fine... *looks around warily*

When you get your knife, post up pics. First rule around here, is "Pics or it didn't happen".

Well clean the grits out of your fork and come on in the house. Pull up a chair and join the party. You're gonna love that nine, but we want pics when she gets her first few bites in.

Hello back. And welcome to the Becker forum, and Bladeforums. Glad you stopped by.

Survival skills and woodland skills are my hobbies, and I enjoy them very much. There's tons of laffs, great people and a warehouse of knowledge.

Stick around, always a pleasure to meet a new face. Oh, and post up some pics of that 9 when it gets in.

I picked up my first Becker a few months ago, since then, life just isnt the same.
I seem to fill my down time with finding new things to cut with my new obsession!

Thanks for plunking down your hard earned green for a Becker.....I hope it works it's butt off for you......Welcome to our neighborhood.....As you may have noticed, even the "adults" slip a bit from time to time.....But, they tend to be genial, helpful and are capable of kindness......If they get pics......And the are stuck with a head guy who has to be led thru tthe pic posting process EVERY frigging time......Anyhooooo WELCOME.....
