Checking with Moderators About Sharing My Website on the Photography Forum

I have a website which I think would be a good learning resource for some people on this forum. I post a new article about photography, almost daily. Lots of helpful information about photography, from all kinds of perspectives – the art of photography, the technical side, the business, the science, the philosophy, etc.

I would love to share it. I just want to make sure that sharing my website wouldn't be considered SPAMming.

I asked about this, last year, and Esav gave me the OK, that he didn't consider it SPAMming – however, that was in the wilderness and survival forum (I photograph nature for a living), and his answer also mentioned that I'm authorized since I was a paid member. I'm no longer a paid member, because medical issues have caused a temporary crimp on my financial situation. However, I've had previous years of being a platinum member, and I'm sure I will be, again.

Here's what Esav said:

Even though my website is very definitely for my business, sharing my articles from the website, here, would not be for business reasons. I have no reason to believe that links from a knife forum make any difference for a nature photography business. I just want to share, because I think a lot of it would be helpful for some folks, here.

So, please let me know whether it's OK for me to post links to stuff from my website, here.

Thanks.

Why, because we have places to go and things to do on a Sunday? Because it's addressed to "moderators" so the few of us supermods who would be the ones involved aren't regularly concerned with this forum? Because the question belongs in Tech Support? :D

Because I personally didn't even see it until just now.

I'll move it to TS.

I apologize for not picking the right forum for this. I was thinking that because it was photo forum related, that was the right forum. I see, now, that was a mistake.

Thanks for moving it.

Not a problem as far as I'm concerned. When you renew, you may want to get the knifemaker / craftsman / service provider membership since you do photography
