Just wanted to drop in and say THANK YOU to all of the Hogs, Rats and Dogs out there out there who frequent the Forums, and to the great people in the Busse & Kin organization who have put so much of themselves, their time, and effort into the phenomenal product that has brought us together.
It has been a long and abnormally difficult year, and our family has had it's share of trials--some make us stronger and some just make us tired.
I am presently preparing myself as a donor for my younger brother who (unless we have a holiday miracle) requires a transplant; ironically he's an assistant strength and conditioning coach for a nationally recognized D1 football program, and in the best shape of anyone I know; life is strange that way...
As I consider everything, I'm truly grateful for the friendships that have been made here, and constantly surprised by the quality of individuals who consider themselves part of the lager Bussekin family. Many of the friendships that have been formed here are some of the strongest I've known and the folks who call themselves Dogs, Rats, and Hogs are genuinely good people, and loyal friends with incredibly large hearts--with few exceptions.
After the fervor of tonight's Ganzaa (most likely tomorrow), I will be posting some of my remaining Busse and Kin knives for sale on the forum--the proceeds will go to my brothers family to help while he is in the hospital--this time of year is difficult for many, and if all we have is our health and that of our family's then we have much to be grateful for.
