Hello ladies and gents,
New member here, lifelong passionate lover of knives. From my first dinky Cub Scout knife decades ago to my latest HEMA steel sword, and now an antique Wootz steel Talwar, I have never lost that sense of excitement to the point of giddiness each time I hold up a blade. Sometimes my wife catches me hunched over my collection in the corner opening and closing my folders, and she swears she can here me repeating 'my precious.'
Recently picked up a slab of high carbon steel and am having fun trying to turn it into something with an edge. Mostly for personal enjoyment, but also to get a little closer to the essence of all things bladed.
Been having a great time perusing the forums and looking forward to sharing this passion with all you fine folks.
