Chef knife in black damascus.

My latest, a 9" chef in Twisted Darkness damascus. S-grinds for food release, very light at 5.95 oz, very thin at <.005" EBS. 2-1/16" tall at heel, with full rounded spine and choil for comfort. Handle is green canvas micarta, balance point is at logo for pinch grip cutting.

Well hello stranger. I was wondering about you a few days ago. That is one evil lookin' kitchen knife. I've always been a sucker for OD Micarta and that deep dark steel is just flat awesome. Well done.
 
wow. i usually dont comment on kitchen knives because i do not know what to make of them. but that has an evil tactical look to it. awesome !
 
Very nice, Salem. You've heard of the Caswell finish? Well, this is the Starbuck's finish. Good sales pitch. :D How did you grind your S hollow?
 
Camber hit that nail square on, I've been slinging knives in IG and keeping my head down filling orders mostly. I do lurk here a bit still, and I have a khyber knife in the works that I'll post here when finished.

Joe, it's a combo of 4" hollow at the deepest, then blending back with a 12" wheel. Almost like a reverse straight razor grind... as for the coffee finish, I've hear it also referred to as "Folgerizing" but I'll admit it's actually Great Value instant.
