Chef knives....Last holiday orders

These were the last two orders I finished up for the hollidays. They are the first Chef knives I've made.....One in Birdseye and the other with black linen Micarta......Steel is from an old wood mill saw blade.

I like the looks of that birdseye maple, but feel that the Micarta would hold up better under the conditions I put a kitchen knife through. Both are great looking knives.
