Hi,

Here's my latest and greatest. ;)

Steel: White #2 with 'Suminigashi' cladding

Handle: Bocote and a red vulcanized fibre spacer

This one is posted in the exchange as well.

Really nice shape. Minimal materials really let the wood and steel shine.

I really like the look of that handle design. Seems like it would make for a nice workhorse kitchen knife, but I would need to use it for a few hours to see how comfortable it is.

Thanks! The spine, choil and all corners have been rounded or softened so there's no sharp edges on the handle. I designed the shape of the handle to be both cool and comfortable. This is of course personal.

I might do a pass-around at some point. Let me know if you'd be interested in that, I'll start a list. Anybody else interested, let me know!

Gosh this knife is refreshing, simple clean uncontrived lines, simple workable handle configuration and great handle shape . I also think that your handle will be very comfortable , great knife , just maybe this is what a working knife should be about.

Love the pattern on the blade, really interesting to look at.

Most definitely. As long as you don't mind it being put through the paces in a professional kitchen.
